DIET Faridpur (Bareilly) was established in the year 1990. The purpose of establishing DIET is to keep teachers and other stakeholders aware of all the latest development of the academic world. Since its establishment, DIET Bareilly is providing training to pre-teachers and in teachers services in different areas under the auspices of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. In recent times, the scope of DIET has been extended from basic education to secondary education.
